I have been this afternoon at Castle Square, Swansea at a well attended Kurdish Gathering in support of Kobani. By chance I had my Kurdish Flag in by shoulder bag but did not have my Camera with me. However, I have made contact with local Kurdish Support group and they will send me further info to pass on. I do not expect much support from the shameful 'Usual Suspects' of Plaid Cymru in this area of supporting fellow compatriots in struggle for freedom and sovereignty but I am hoping that Pobl Glyndwr and in particular Gwerin Owain Activists will arise to the occasion and e most supportive and active in campaigns in support of the Kurds and also in condemnation of Turkey. Write letters to their Embassy in London and initiate a campaign to boycott holidays in Turkey and whatever? Other than this buy a Kurdish Flag and fly it at events and our rallies as in Caernarfon on 2 Tachwedd and at Cilmeri in December or where and when ever. not least write to your MPs and AM's badger Leanne Wood AM, Bethan Jenkins AMand Jill Evans MEP to get off their Gaza 'Hamas High Horse' and do a few favours for the Kurds. After all when it suited Plaid Leaders as Dafydd Iwan who came out to condemn Turkey for building a Reservoirs on Kurdish land allowing him to prattle on about Tryweryn (yawn!), he spoke up! Same CyIG they spoke up once on Kurdish Language Issue! So, why is Plaid Cymru and CyIG silent now? More concerned about ISIL being bombed, but d they rather not and the door was left wide open for ISIL to slaughter Kurdish Civilians? Plaid Cymru members, who amongst you will raise these issues at the fourth coming Plaid Conference?
